Jade Frost

I have always known I belonged in the human services field with the love and support I have got from those involved. Graduating with my bachelors from SUNY Oswego and now currently in my second year of graduate school at Cazenovia College in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program, I have developed the skills and confidence to continue my journey in my internship with Dr. Melissa Carman.

My experience is with young children with special needs and older children with behavioral issues. I believe in creating the therapeutic relationship and using a person centered approach to lead my clients.

After going through the therapeutic process myself, I truly trust in it and understand both sides. This has helped in developing my passion counseling. Being in such a dark place, to have a great therapist help me gain the tools I need to better myself is something that has changed my life. My goal is to be that for someone else.
